iOS 11.2: Top Feature Updates, Release and Tips to Install Beta

iOS 11 is always known to provide promising and effective features along with every release. iOS 11 is a considerable transformed update of Apple OS experience to its user. iOS 11.1 mostly fixed bugs and brought users a set of new emoji, but iOS 11.2 is more significant with some additional features. What’s new in iOS 11.2

iOS 11.2 comes with some important updates and tweaks. Apple Pay Cash is a valuable addition to Apple OS. And it is expected to also introduce iMessage in iCloud. Till now these updates are not in Beta versions but it is being endorsed to be added in the final release.

Until the second update, there are only a few changes like small bug fixes and design hikes are witnessed. Of these, the major ones are with the calculator app where you had to wait for stretched animations to play before you get the results. Also, the erroneous results that occurred due to the wrong calculation inputs (If you enter 1+2+3 you’d get 23) are now fixed. 

Within the visual changes, you will witness only a few new emojis in the new avatar. A new square icon is being provided to album art. And delayed animation for live photos will be there (with the loop, bounce, and long exposure). Also, there will be access to new live wallpapers for iPhone X users.

And if we talk about the features and functionality updates then there’s the ability offered to manage AirPlay 2 devices within the control center. iOS 11.2 avails you to switch between numerous destinations controlling programs independently and it seems to be an advance preparation for the upcoming HomePod.

The arrival of iOS 11.2

Till now there’s no any official announcement for the final release but it is aired that it will be effective and accessible soon by December 2017. And it is not too much far.

Access to iOS 11.2 Public Beta

Just after allowing iOS developers of each and every mobile app development company to get an access to the developer’s Beta version of 11.2 on October 30th, Public Beta was released on 1st of November. First logon to Beta Software Program page and enroll your iOS device there. As you have done enrollment of your device, you need to take backup for avoiding the chances of any kind of data loss. Now you have to download and install a configuration profile which will let you see the over-the-air software update in your phone’s Settings.
